Perfect Peanut Sauce

I could put peanut sauce on anything. I have made dozens of different variations but this one is my favourite. It is perfect as a dressing for cole slaw, or a dip for salad rolls. Tonight I had it as an amazing sauce for a cold noodle salad.

Perfect Peanut Sauce

  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/3 – 1/4 cup water (for desired thickness)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 inches grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1-2 Tbsp Sirracha
  • 2 Tbsp agave or brown sugar

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until completely smooth.

I combined cold cooked Udon noodles, carrot, cucumber, green onion, cilantro and cashews and poured the sauce on top. It was fantastic tonight but will be even better for lunch tomorrow!
